They say that everything you need to know you learned in Kindergarten and we think there is a lot of truth to that. On your first day of school, you didn't write out a list of things that would make up the ideal best friend (unless you are a little weirdo). You showed up as yourself with all of your likes, dislikes, and quirky ways and someone equally quirky just gravitated to you and vice versa. You got to know each other and by the end of the first week, everyone had found their bffs.
Marketing is really about letting your freak flag fly in all the best ways. It's about humanizing your brand and making sure that everyone knows who YOU are and letting them gravitate toward you.
So many companies get this wrong. They start by figuring out the "ideal client" and then build a content strategy centered around that client. The truth is, humans cannot fit in a mold and we’re not out to create cookie-cutter campaigns. If you are starting with a questionnaire about who you serve, you are already doing it wrong.
We start with the brand. Who are you? Why do you exist? What is your message? What are you quirkiest traits? We find your brand voice and then help you to share it in ways that will attract the humans who are looking for YOU!
